It is one of our largest moulds, standing around 14cm tall with an 8cm diameter at the widest point.  It has a single cut line approximately halfway down one side to allow for demoulding. \u003c\/div\u003e\n\u003cdiv style=\"text-align: left;\"\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/div\u003e\n\u003ch3\u003eA few notes:\u003c\/h3\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThere is a cavity under the chin. When pouring, fill in the ears and head section first and then tilt the mould to release the air bubble under the chin. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAlign the cut until they are not visible and then apply the elastic band before pouring to avoid misaligning. Do not move the mould once you have aligned the cut. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eStand the mould in a container in case of leakage. While I have never experienced leaks with cut moulds, it is\u003cspan\u003e \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cstrong\u003ealways\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003cspan\u003e \u003c\/span\u003ebetter to be safe than sorry. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eCut moulds require post-processing, the extent of which varies depending on the alignment of the mould before pouring and \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003epersonal preference. I've had success with casting in cut moulds where the cut seam was virtually invisible and no post-processing was needed. Other times I was able to quickly clean up thin flakes along the cut with a craft knife.
